Local training for Digital Curator in Ancona (Italy)

Great success for the local training for Digital Curators held in Ancona (Italy) from the 20th to the 24th of March 2023, dedicated to museum professionals from the Marche region.

The training has been organized and carried out by Fondazione Marche Cultura and the Università Politecnica delle Marche in collaboration with ICOM Marche
Over the 5 days, forty participants from museums and cultural institutes from all over the region, and over twenty qualified speakers gave life to the event, deepening the key aspects for the digitization of cultural heritage in small and medium-sized museums.

  • Accessible Museums (day 2)
  • Museum identity (day 3)
  • Digital cultural heritage (day 4)
  • Marketing, communication and promotion (day 5)

At the end of the training participants received a certificate of attendance. The enthusiasm and appreciation expressed by all the participants confirm the strategic value of this initiative for the relaunch of the museum system. It has been a precious training opportunity, lived with enthusiasm, involvement and desire to share in this post-pandemic phase.
